Sustainable Art Project
The sustainable art project is a project that aims to explore sustainable ways of working, in particular what artists are doing to reduce their personal impacts on the environment through the way that they produce their work. In order to educate and inspire others who are looking to convert their practices to become more sustainable.
Project Overview
Working with the aim to create a collective of alternative photographic process created works that challenge the ideas of the photographic impacts on the environment as well as what people are doing to change their personal impact through the way that they work. Including work from artist that they have previously created or currently producing, this is because some of the processes can take some time to produce a successful outcome, Chlorophyll printing for example.

Additionally to incorporate some words from artists who are working within the alternative photographic field to further show the reasoning behind their choices to use these processes over solely using photographic technology. These words are to be partnered with their works and shown alongside a self-portrait of the artist, to create an insight into each of the artists personal practice.

I was looking to create a educational resource that show different options to creating work in a more sustainable way . in order to show and inspire others on what is possible when consciously making an effort to reduce their environmental impacts within their work space in terms of consumption of materials and waste created. alongside the creative ways it can be reduced and providing example of work artists are already producing.
